1. Acceptance

By accessing or using SplitSeat (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What SplitSeat Is

SplitSeat is a platform that facilitates payment coordination and seat sharing for legally shareable multi-seat software licenses.

SplitSeat:

Does NOT sell software licenses
Does NOT provide software access credentials
Does NOT own or control third-party software
Does facilitate payments and participation between users

The license owner is solely responsible for compliance with the original software provider's terms.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree that:

You will only share licenses that explicitly allow multi-user or multi-seat usage
You have the legal right to participate in shared licenses
You will not use the Service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity under it.

5. Payments and Fees

Payments are processed via Stripe. SplitSeat charges a disclosed platform service fee.

All payments are final except where required by law.

6. Disputes

SplitSeat is not responsible for disputes between users regarding shared licenses, access, or compliance.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated. You may stop using the Service at any time.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no guarantees regarding third-party software or availability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SplitSeat shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, including disputes between users or third-party license violations.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy.
